March 2022 Updates – A New Modern Fit
The Modern Collection
You asked… we listened! Although our Classic D1-3 jacket and DI-234 vest have been delighting our customers for decades, we started to wonder how we could modify the cut and make the apparel more daily-wear friendly. As such, we would like to introduce our new Modern Collection!
We have taken our tried-and-true patterns but streamlined the dimensions, specifically to create a slimmer fit. We added some additional details, such as binded edges and a straight cut at the bottom, so that these garments can transition easily from work day to an after-work party. For a more individualized style, ask about our inner lining options!
As always, our Classic pieces are still and will always be available. When ordering, we just ask that you specify your preference of “Modern” or “Classic” so that we are certain you are getting the style that you want. Our dedicated customer service team will always be here to help with any clarification, should you need any.

Employee Spotlight: Liz Delong
Liz Delong has been a member of the team at Dickson Industries for three and a half years now. As Office Manager, Liz is essentially the glue of our operation. Liz lives in Ankeny with her boyfriend and their two year old dog, Everette Bay. She enjoys eating sushi and drinking coffee. When asked about her favorite activities and hobbies she answered:
“In my spare time I enjoy taking training classes with my dog, going fishing, spending time with my family and friends, spending time at Ruby pitch and cooking”. However, when its comes to work Liz said, “My favorite part of the day is getting to interact with our customers, When I do, it’s not just getting an update on their order from production or getting them a tracking number – it’s building a lasting relationship”.
One of the best attributes of Liz is her attention to detail and “can-do” spirit. Robin Hodge, Sales Executive at Dickson, has this to say of Liz: “Working with Liz is an absolute pleasure. I always know that any help of information I need from Liz will be thorough and accurate. She really is the first point of contact for many with Dickson Industries, and watching her build customer relationships is absolutely her talent. I am so grateful to be on the same team as Liz, which is a sentiment echoed by the rest of the Dickson family”.
